Chickasaw Holiday Art Market Happening Back at Sulphur on Dec 6

The Chickasaw Holiday Art Market, a premier showcase dedicated exclusively to the work of Chickasaw artists, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 6th, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual event will be hosted within the elegant Artesian Hotel Ballroom, located at 1001 West First Street in Sulphur, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Traditional and Contemporary Artistry

Organizers, operating under the oversight of the Chickasaw Artist Board, have curated a diverse range of artistic creations perfectly suited for holiday gift-giving. Attendees will have the opportunity to acquire unique pieces spanning both traditional and contemporary mediums, all crafted exclusively by Chickasaw Nation citizens. The collection features original paintings, finely handwoven items, diverse forms of pottery and ceramics, intricate beadwork, custom-designed jewelry, and one-of-a-kind knives.

The market will highlight the work of numerous acclaimed and emerging artists, including Margaret Wheeler, Brent Greenwood, Dan Worcester, Joanna Underwood Blackburn, Mary Wilds, and Beverly Callahan.
